April 5th 2025 to March 31st, 2026

RENEWAL and NEW MEMBERSHIP Applications and Payments will open for submission February 17, 2025.
Information about the Process, Application Form and Payment links will be posted on this 'New/Renew' page prior to the date.

All Renewal and Intake dates are posted under 'Schedule' on the website. The TENTATIVE '25-'26 Schedule is available to view now. (Schedule is subject to change with limited or no notice.)

Applications and payments will ONLY be accepted and processed on-lineApplication and payments WILL NOT be accepted at the field. More details will be posted prior to the date.

The membership Renewal and Intakes processes will follow the same procedure as in prior years, and details will be posted on this 'New/Renew' page on this website prior to the date.

The membership fee for 2025-2026 is:
$110 / individual
$220 / family (living in the same household)

REPORT A CONCERN

If you see any suspicious or worrisome behaviour e.g. loitering, damaging property, or just feel uneasy about using the field if non-members are on the property - you can call 604-294-7200 City of Burnaby right away.

They will often have Park Patrols and Service trucks in and around the area and they will come as quickly as possible. Phone Number for Park Patrol is posted on the Notice Board at the field.

The membership is valid from April 5, 2025 to March 31, 2026.

Locks on the butts, sign-in box, and porta-potty are changed on April 1st of each term. *(April 5th, for term '25-'26)

Applications and Payments CANNOT be processed at the field.
NO EXCEPTIONS.

ANYONE APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP TO BURNABY ARCHERS MUST MAKE THEMSELVES FULLY AWARE OF THE CLUB RULES. THESE CAN BE FOUND ON THE RULES OF CONDUCT and ETIQUETTE, AND RANGE RULES ON THIS WEBSITE. THEY ARE ALSO POSTED AT THE FIELD.

RENEWING MEMBERS

After you have submitted an application and payment, you can pick up your new key and sticker on any posted ‘intake and renewal’ date on the ‘Schedule’ on this site. (see more details below)

Both application and payment MUST BE RECEIVED 24 hours in advance of pickup.

NOTE: RENEWING Members - you will NOT get an email confirming receipt of application. You will get a receipt from PayPal for your payment

If you have not been a member for over two years you cannot renew your membership as you are considered a NEW member and will have to undergo the New member Intake process.

**NEW Members only - you WILL get an email from Burnaby Archers confirming your date and time for your Intake Session.

You MUST bring your old key and badge to the field

If you have not been a member for two or more years, you are considered a NEW applicant and will have to go through the New Member Intake process

Note Intakes are scheduled at the availability of Board members and volunteers. Please be flexible as doing individual intakes is not possible.

Note family members must be 10 years and older. If under 10, refer to the Burnaby Archers JOP program for children under the JOP tab on this website

DO YOU QUALIFY TO DO THE NEW MEMBER INTAKE?

All NEW MEMBERS (including children 10 and over) must undergo a half hour safety orientation, demonstrate proficiency with their equipment by setting up and taking down, and shoot three arrows into a 20 mtr target unassisted.

If you will not be successful in this process, it is suggested you take lessons first, and do not submit an application for membership until you are ready.

Note Burnaby Archers does not offer archery lessons.
