What is the Junior Olympian Program?

BURNABY ARCHERS MEMBERSHIP FEES:
$110 - SINGLE $220 - FAMILY (LIVING IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD)

PROOF OF CURRENT BC ARCHERY ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP
The Junior Olympian Program (JOP) for youth aged 10-20 years, is designed to recognize young archers for their achievements and give encouragement for improvements.
each youth develops archery skills together with greater confidence and ability to perform in competition. Emphasis is placed on safety and individual performance, courtesy and good sportsmanship.
Youth should have their own bow and arrows, arm guard and finger protection. Sights and/or releases are optional. Shooters will learn about safety rules and learn the visual and audible signals used to for timing/safety controls.
Start: Tuesday, May 5, to Tuesday, August 25, 2026
End: Tuesday, August 25, 2026
Set up: 5:30pm (help with set up is always appreciated!)
Start: 6:00pm
Location: Burnaby Archers range located at Joe Sakic Way and Kensington Avenue, Burnaby
- there are no additional fees for juniors to shoot during this session
- those that do not pass the Burnaby Archers proficiency test may still participate
- participants must supply their own archery equipment and score cards.
- targets and butts will be supplied by Burnaby Archers
- those wishing to participate in the BC Archery Association’s Junior Olympian Program must be a member of the BC Archery Association
help to setup and take down the butts will be appreciated
