IMPORTANT NOTICE - NOVEMBER 2024
Effective immediately, the Burnaby Archers Club will NOT be accepting any further membership applications for the remainder of the current membership year ending March 31st, 2025.
Membership for Burnaby Archers Club runs April 1st to March 31st, NOT the calendar year. If you wish to submit an application for the remaining months of the current membership year ending March 31st, 2025, please note that payment for a full year is still required we cannot prorate.
When application submission for the 2025-2026 membership term commencing April 1st, 2025 open, a notice will be posted on this websitewhich will provide all the details including how to apply, payment and process. It is anticipated the application process will commence sometime in late February or early March.
Links to the Application and PayPal will be added to the website at that time.

The fees for 2024 - 2025 Membership year (April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025) are:
$120/individual and $240/family members living in the same household.
ALL applications and payments are processed on-line - no exceptions - APPLICATIONS AND PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE FIELD

ANYONE APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP TO BURNABY ARCHERS MUST MAKE THEMSELVES FULLY AWARE OF THE CLUB RULES. THESE CAN BE FOUND ON THE RULES OF CONDUCT and ETIQUETTE AND RANGE RULES ON THIS WEBSITE AND POSTED AT THE FIELD.

**RENEWING MEMBERS**
After you have submitted an application and payment, you can pick up your new key and sticker on any posted ‘intake and renewal’ date on the ‘Schedule’ on this website.
Both application and payment MUST BE RECEIVED 24 hours in advance of pickup.
**NOTE:
RENEWING Members - you will NOT get an email confirming receipt of application. You will get a receipt from PayPal for your payment.
NEW Members WILL get an email confirming your date and time for your Intake Session. Please be patient. We are unable to answer emails requesting dates and times.
*NOTE* An application and payment must be submitted online at least 24 hours in advance for processing. You do not need a PayPal account to do this. Applications and Payments CANNOT be processed at the field. No Exceptions.

NEW MEMBERS
AFTER the application and payment has been received and processed, the applicant will receive a detailed email regarding the time, date and other important details about the applicants scheduled intake date. An applicant CANNOT just show up.
HOW INTAKES WORK FOR NEW MEMBERS
1. Complete the on-line Application, enter ALL details, and be sure to SUBMIT (link is at the bottom of the New / Renew Tab on this website
2. Make an on-line membership fee payment via Pay Pal. Once the payment has been processed you will get a receipt from PayPal (You DO NOT NEED a Pay Pal account for this. Link will be at the bottom of the New / Renew Tab on this website)
3. After application and payment have been processed, you will receive an email from Burnaby Archers confirming your Date and Time You - cannot just show up at the field. Be Patient. This will take a few days
4. On the assigned date, go to the field with your own equipment (rain or shine) meet at the first picnic table with others in your group
5. You will undergo a safety orientation, and demonstrate you can shoot 3 arrows into a 20 meter target unassisted. The process will take about 30-40 mins
6. Once you successfully shoot all 3 arrows, you will be given your new badge, member sticker and key to unlock the butts, sign in box and porta potty. If you are unsuccessful, you can choose to come back and try again, OR, we can issue you a refund
7. Review the Range Rules and Rules of Etiquette on this site, or on our FB page under 'Files' . They are also posted at the field.
Note: Intakes are scheduled at the availability of Board members. Please be flexible as DOING INDIVIDUAL INTAKES IS NOT POSSIBLE.

RENEWALS ONLY
COMPLETE AND SUBMIT your Application and Payment. The links will be on the New Renew tab on this website. These must be received AT LEAST 24 hours IN ADVANCE.
Pick up dates and times for your new key are posted on the New/Renew Page and can also be picked up on any posted New Member Intake date and time.
View the 'Schedule' on this site for all dates and times, and look for announcements on the Official Burnaby Archers Facebook page.
When picking up, you MUST BRING your badge and 'old' key !
(It is $15 to replace a lost or stolen key. Cash Only)

Keys are not to be given or shared with others. Non-members found with a key given to them by a member, will be asked to hand in the key in, leave the field immediately and the member will be suspended from the Club.**** Guests are not permitted. No drop-ins.**
